Well, as usual, it’s been a while since I posted last. This time at least I have a good excuse. Along with my friends Finckobot and Tvyks, I’ve started promoting a weekly party here in Berlin. It’s called Get Wavey and so far it’s been going really well! If you’re in Berlin and haven’t already, please stop by. Just send me an email if you’re interested in getting on the list.
Here’s a mix that’s a good indicator of what I’m spinning these days, although it might be a bit more mellow that a normal Get Wavey set.
I was recently asked to do a remix by a cool label out of Antioquia, Columbia called Sick Society Records and was so inspired by the original track that I was able to whip out a remix in a little over a day (which is a very short time for me)! The track will be released for real soon, so I probably shouldn’t be giving it away, but if you’re cool and ask nice, I might hook you up .
Here’s another remix I’ve done recently. This is remix of the first release on Neon Records by 3 Is A Crowd and En Masse. Neon Records is a label based here in Berlin who will, coincidentally, be releasing an EP of my music next month. Jörg, who fronts the label, asked me to do this remix a few weeks ago to help promote the release. You can download my remix for free from soundcloud and buy the release at juno or over at beatport.
Here’s the remix I did for the Schlachthofbrox track Ayoba! It didn’t win, but it has received some good support from my friends over at bln.fm. It’s in the current “pre party” rotation as well as being in BRRRLN’s top 10 this month!
